I don’t know what it is or how it happens but every time I am about to post something about hair, I read an GQ article before. This time, it was about hair trends and what there is to come the next season. And as I was looking for something new and fresh, I considered it just appropriate to show you the pictures of the article and what I have decided to do. Now, for this post I wanna keep it short, because all I think about hair trends and styles is all Megan Gustenshaw thinks too.
“Fact: A good haircut—one with personality, but not too much personality—can turn a completely basic man into a mysterious and stylish character. With a good head of hair on your shoulders, you don’t need to buy loud sneakers, patterned suits or power socks. You are free to pass on pretty much every trend. A T-shirt and a pair of jeans will look like a thought-out fashion statement and when the occasion calls for getting dressed up, no matter what you’re wearing, people will comment on how sharp you look. Want in? These grooming gods (the ones who charge upwards of $300 for a haircut) have you covered.” (Megan Gustenshaw)
Now, for all you nosey people, here are the slides from GQ if you wanna see them.
And here are my favorite picks:
#1 Jake Gyllenhaal
A little wavy, a little outta bed with a nice scruff, this look rocks it.
#2 Kyle Krieger
Similar to the cut I went for, Kyle Krieger goes with a nice and proper barber’s cut.
#3 – Jared Leto
Beside the fact that Jared Leto is one of my favorite styling icons to watch, I like his blonde bold slickback hair. It is simply cool.
#4 – Now For Me
I went for proper and neat barber’s cut as well, skinfaded sides with longer hair on top. I like it. Here are some impressions, and I even tried that blonde bold thing (for Halloween) 😉
I even did a hat thing. Yet, I am still not sure if I will get it or not. By the way, if you wanna read something about hats, go ahead and see my post about it.
Hope you liked that other kind of post. Have a nice sunday.
